General Information

Our league plays at Club Med Billiard Parlor. The first night of play is the first Wednesday in November at 6:00pm. We will complete play for 15 weeks. * Play will be resumed if we are forced to cancel play.

Play Format

Your team will play an opposing team by shooting its five players against their five players. Each week each player will shoot five matches. (see Schedule)

Scoring

Based on wins/losses of the five flights and the total. Six (6) team points possible for each week of play.

Individual Handicap

A new handicap will be calculated each week thereafter based on the total points divided by the total matches played.

Standard Rules Of Eight Ball And Ppl By-Laws

The by-laws supercede the standard rules. In general the by-laws reflect the generally accepted rules of amateur play.

Dues

League dues are $10.00 for the season. Dues must be paid within the first 4 weeks of the season or the captain must remove your name from the roster for the season.

Weekly Fees

Player fees each week will be $50 per team for each league match, which will be collected by your team captain. The rental cost of tables is $175 for duration of the matches. The balance of the weekly fees will be used for party(s), tournament(s) and to cover administrative expenses incurred by the league.

Prize Money

Prize money ($500) will be paid to the top four winning teams at the end of the season.

1st place will receive 40%, 2nd place 30%, 3rd place 20%, 4th place 10%. * Points are used for a tie breaker.
